Silicone heart made for 'The One I Love' short film. Sculpted in clay and cast in silicone. Layers of silicone were built up in a plaster mold to make a silicone jacket. The top of the vessels were cut to allow blood to escape the heart. A balloon was inserted inside of this and attached to a modified sphygmomanometer bulb to allow the heart to inflate/ deflate- giving a beating impression.
